About Sean Jarne

Sean grew up in Yorba Linda, CA. He attended and played football for Esperanza High School in Anaheim. After graduation he received a football scholarship to The University of Colorado Bolder and played for the Colorado Buffaloes. He was a 3 year starter and 4 year letterman. Sean graduated with two degrees: history and political science.

Just a month before the NFL draft and one class away from getting a third degree in Psychology, Sean was in a career-ending car accident. He returned home and took a year to recover. His mother, Judy Jarne was a successful realtor at the Yorba Linda First Team office and was convinced he would be great at real estate due to his competitive nature and determination.  Sean followed in her footsteps by joining the Newport Beach office. As of December 2020, he has completed over 265 transactions and received numerous Hall of Fame awards. 

Sean likes to think of himself as a coach for his team, The Jarne  Group, sharing wisdom learned over the last 18 years. Sean  surfs regularly, cycles 27 miles daily and enjoys frequenting local restaurants. He currently resides in Newport Beach with his wife Whittney, their miniature dachshund Winslow, and their daughter Lila. 

Matt was born and raised in Huntington Beach and attended Huntington Beach High School.  After graduating from Long Beach State with a degree in political science, he taught English abroad in Korea for two years where he met his wife, Mina. He has lived on both the Big Island of Hawaii and in the Bay Area, but  Matt and Mina were excited to make the move back to Orange County in 2018.  

Matts professional background is in sales and teaching which has allowed him to seamlessly transition into real estate with First Team Estates.  He is dedicated and committed to making sure that his clients have the best experience possible throughout the whole transaction.  He understands the stresses that come with buying or selling a home.  Matt will always aim to serve his clients with the utmost integrity, knowledge, and professionalism. 

When he is not working Matt enjoys traveling, sports, and of course- surfing in Surf City, USA. Matt joined The Jarne Group in 2020. 

Whittney was born in the Northeast and moved to North Carolina at age 8. In the mid-2000s, her family relocated to Huntington Beach, CA, and Whittney visited often while attending The University of North Carolina at Charlotte. In 2006, she took a year off  then transferred to The Art Institute for graphic design, graduating in 2009 while working full-time. 

Since graduating, Whittney has worked in various industries, including medical, software, healthcare, and construction. In 2020, she left her corporate marketing role to build the branding for Jarne Realty Group. After briefly returning to the corporate world, she realized her passion was in real estate and property management. Now as the Marketing Director for Jarne Realty Group and the Director of Marketing & Operations at Seashore Property Management, Whittney focuses on boosting both companies success. 

Whittney enjoys walking on the beach, HIIT workouts, yoga, learning through online courses, and spending time with friends and family.
